1. Purpose of the tool
FollowerDiff analyzes Instagram follower and following information supplied through a user's own Instagram data export. The tool is intended as a personal informational utility.
2. Your data and account
You should only use data that you are authorized to access and analyze. FollowerDiff does not ask for or require your Instagram password and should not be used to obtain unauthorized access to another person's account.
3. Instagram and Meta
FollowerDiff is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Instagram or Meta. Instagram may change its export format or platform behavior at any time.
4. Accuracy and availability
FollowerDiff is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Results depend on the contents and format of the Instagram export you provide. The tool may contain errors, may become incompatible with future export formats, or may be unavailable from time to time.
5. No automated Instagram actions
FollowerDiff analyzes exported data only. It does not promise to automatically follow, unfollow, message, log into, or otherwise modify an Instagram account.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use FollowerDiff to violate applicable law, gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, interfere with the service, distribute malicious code, or abuse the tool in a way that harms other people or services.
7. Privacy
Your use of FollowerDiff is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains local processing, username analytics, record keeping, and third-party infrastructure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of FollowerDiff is not responsible for losses, account actions, missed information, data issues, service interruptions, or other damages arising from use of or reliance on the tool.
9. Changes to the tool or terms
FollowerDiff and these terms may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Continued use after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
